The AASCA NSW Coffee Championships take place this weekend at The Apprentice.
The Australasian Specialty Coffee Association (AASCA) New South Wales Coffee Championship will take place at 10am on 28 and 29 January at The Apprentice restaurant in Sydney Institute of TAFE.
This fine dining restaurant, usually a training platform for Sydney’s emerging chefs and hospitality staff, will transform into a buzzing competition space for New South Wales’ best baristas.
The two-day event will feature Barista, Latte Art and Cup Tasting and Brewers Cup Championships and will be calibrated by Saxon Wright, a certified World Barista Championship judge.
The AASCA NSW Championship will also hold Coffee Logic seminars, trade show stands and have volunteer baristas on hand to pour guests a perfect brew.
