Each year, the coffee community comes together to help raise awareness and vital funds to combat homelessness.
On 3 August, CaféSmart participating cafés will donate $1 from every coffee sold on the day to support local homeless projects in their local suburbs.

World Coffee Events (WCE) has announced Brazil as the host country of the 2018 World Brewers Cup (WBrC) and World Cup Tasters (WCTC) Championship.
The new World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC) location is not confirmed and will be announced when details are finalised.
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) have mutually agreed not to host the World Coffee Championships at GulfHost in September 2018.
GulfHost was the host event for the World Brewers Cup, World Cup Tasters Championship and World Coffee Roasters Championship, in which Australia’s Heath Dalziel, Yama King and Ben Toovey were competing in respectively.
