Accademia del Caffè Espresso, La Marzocco‘s cultural hub in Italy focused on understanding and promoting espresso culture, has partnered with Carpigiani Gelato University to host an online course exploring coffee and gelato.
Gelato & Coffee: Recipes, Infusions, and Pairings will focus on the use of espresso coffee as an ingredient and teaching attendees how to use it with gelato to create new recipes. The team at Accademia del Caffè Espresso say the online course is for coffee lovers who want to dive deeper into a new dimension of the beloved beverage.
The workshop consists of two sessions over two days and is a total of eight hours. The English language version takes place from 12 to 13 May while the Italian language version takes place from 31 March to April 1. Participants that complete at least 80 per cent of the lessons will be awarded with certification issued by Carpigiani Gelato University. The price of the course is €305 (AU$525), inclusive of VAT.
The gelato and coffee course is just one of a series of educational workshops hosted by Accademia del Caffè Espresso. The institute runs courses on a huge range of topics, from barista training and high-end coffee tasting to the history of coffee and roasting tutorials.
