Almond Breeze will host the Breezey Masters in Sydney to find New South Wales’ top latte artist on 7 August.

The latte art competition will take place at Haven Specialty Coffee in Surry Hills from 6pm to 8.30pm.

The winner of this competition will go on to battle the best latte artists from across Australian the national Breezey Masters final, to be held in Melbourne in November.

The Breezey Masters is now in its third year. The event is a top class latte art competition that lets baristas showcase their skills using Almond Breeze almond milk.

Competing baristas are required to make four different patterns – a heart, tulip, rosetta, swan – and a free pour design in two minutes. Baristas are judged on the quality of their designs.

Last year’s winner Lucky Cabrera Salvador, a trainer for Five Senses Coffee, won a trip to the London Coffee Festival. This year’s winner will have the choice to fly to London for the Coffee Festival or to Boston for the Specialty Coffee Association Expo in 2019.

The winner will also win a space in Almond Breeze’s Barista Benchmark series that features on the side of the new Almond Breeze Barista Blend packaging.

Almond Breeze is a leading international brand of almond milk. It is a low-fat milk alternative made from almonds, and it is completely free from diary, eggs, lactose, casein, peanuts and gluten.

The unique formula in Almond Breeze comes from Blue Diamond, who have more than 100 years experience in growing and harvesting the world’s finest almonds.

After a decade of success in North America, Almond Breeze launched in Australia in April 2012. It is produced locally with manufacturing and production facilities at Taren Point, Sydney.
