The 2019 Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Central Region Coffee Championship will take place from 20 to 21 October.
Held at Specialty Coffee Curators in Marrickville, New South Wales, this is the third regional of the 2019 competition season.
The Central Region Coffee Championship will see the best baristas from NSW and the Australian Capital Territory combine to compete in the Barista, Latte Art, Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters competitions.
The winners from each event will compete in the National Coffee Championships taking place at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo from 7 to 9 February, 2019.

Winners of the ASCA 2019 Northern Region Championship, held in Queensland in September, include Barista Champion Tilly Sproule of Tim Adams Specialty Coffee, Latte Art Champion Kyujong-Han of Cup and Wells, Brewers Cup Champion Alex Borg of Veneziano, and Cup Tasters Champion Callum Jubb of Black Star.
Winners of the ASCA 2019 Central Region Championship, held in Victoria in October, include Barista Champion Jack Simpson of Axil Coffee Roasters, Latte Art Champion Zhao Ting Wu of Cote Terra Coffee, Brewers Cup Champion Devin Loong of Ona Coffee, and Cup Tasters Champion Juwon Jong of Mikro Coffee Roasters.
The Western Region Championship is the last of the regional events, taking place at the Double Shot Festival in South Australia from 3 – 4 November.
