One week to go until MICE2017

Baristas from each corner of the country will compete in the 2017 ASCA Australian Coffee Championships at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo, taking place from 30 March to 1 April. Entry to the competition is included with tickets to the Melbourne International Coffee Expo

Five championship events will take place under big tent of the Grand Pavilion at the Melbourne Showgrounds, consisiting of the Australian Barista, Brewers Cup, Cup Tasters, Pura Latte Art, and inaugural Coffee Roasting Championships.

Winners from each regional competition will prepare to dazzle the judges – and crowd – with their timed performances, creative latte art, and delicious coffees, with the ultimate goal of taking out the national title and representing Australia on the world stage.

This year, the World Barista Championship will take place in Seoul from 9 – 21 November 2017.

The World Brewers Cup, World Latte Art, and World Cup Tasters Championship will take place from 13 – 15 June 2017 in Budapest, and the World Coffee Roasting Championship will take place in December in Guangzhou, China.

Can Hugh Kelly go back-to-back and win the Barista Championship? Will we see another World Latte Art Champion in the making? All will be revealed at MICE.

Follow the cheers, applause, and routine music to the main stage in the Grand Pavilion.
