The 2019 Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Western Region Coffee Championship will take place from 3 to 4 November.
Held at Unley Town Hall in South Adelaide, the final regional event of the 2019 competition season will coincide with the City of Unley’s Double Shot Coffee Fiesta.
The Western Region Coffee Championship will see the best baristas from South and Western Australia combine to compete in the Barista, Latte Art, and Brewers Cup competitions.
The Western Region Cup Tasters Championship took place at Howdy Coffee in Bayswater, WA on 20 October and saw Matthew Smithies of Five Senses Coffee take the title.
The winners from each event will compete in the 2019 ASCA Australian Coffee Championships taking place at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo from 7 to 9 February, 2019.
