The Astoria Storm espresso machine will be featured in Latte Art Live at the Milan Coffee Festival in Italy from 30 November to 2 December.

Latte Art Live is an area dedicated to latte art, with international experts, including 2017 World Latte Art Champion Arnon Thitiprasert, hosting workshops and competitions.

Astoria says the Storm was chosen for the event because of its Super Dry steam dispensing technology, and cool touch Barista Attitude wand.

“Storm allows magic to be made with milk. Without its dry steam and totally flexible movement, I would have never been able to outline the detailed strokes of the Jumping Rabbit on a Tree, Deer Looking Back, and Walking Fox [patterns] that helped me win the world championship,” Arnon says.

Astoria will also spotlight the Storm in its own stand at the festival, where Arnon will hold a latte art masterclass. 2016 World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion Michalis Dimitrakopoulos will host a coffee sensory workshop.

On 30 November from 5pm to 6pm, Michalis will introduce a new cocktail specially created for the event.

Visitors at the Astoria stand will also be able to sample various specialty coffees from Torrefazione Lady Cafè in the Parma region of Italy, including single origins from Guatemala, Mexico, Brazil, India, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama, Haiti, and others.
