Axil Coffee has announced it will host a pop-up in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD from 24 to 28 May.

Coffee enthusiasts and visitors in Brisbane will have the opportunity to experience Axil Coffee’s coffee at the guest coffee bar in InterSection Project, also known as Coffee Anthology.

“We are really excited to bring Axil to Brisbane and showcase our coffee with this vibrant city. It’s also fantastic to partner with Coffee Anthology, who share a similar philosophy and passion for coffee,” says Dave Makin, Axil Coffee Managing Director.

During this five-day event, guests will be treated to specialty coffee brewed and served by 2022 World Barista Champion Anthony Douglas.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the team at Axil Coffee Roasters to our venue and look forward to properly introducing our customers to their range of specialty coffee,” says Adam Wang, Coffee Anthology and The Maillard Project Owner.

On 25 May, Axil Coffee will be showcasing its new high-end coffee range named the Signature Series, and attendees will be able to join in a special meet and greet with Anthony Douglas.

The Melbourne roaster is also hosting a latte art smackdown on 26 May, where competitors will compete for a $1000 cash prize in a knock-out format where the vessel they pour from will be randomly selected. Both events will run from 4pm to 7pm.
