BioPak’s new pricing system came into effect this week with some products leaving consumers with savings of more than 50 per cent.

BioPak Sustainability Director Richard Fine says the sourcing of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved BioStraws ensures a vibrant future for the economy and the environment.
“Paper straws are significantly better than plastic,” he says.
“BioPak has the only FSC-approved certified straws in Australia and New Zealand. FSC Chain of Custody certification guarantees that the paper used to produce our straws come from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly.”
The emergence of paper straws has prompted one of the world’s leading beverage companies in Coca-Cola Amatil to recently announce their switch to using BioStraws.
Biopak says more businesses are expected to ditch the dangerous single-use plastic variety as research reveals if BioStraws replaced plastic straws, it would remove the need for 12 tonnes of plastic waste each year.
BioStraws can be purchased online and are available in a range of sizes and colours.
