Following a nationwide search, the state finalists of the Almond Breeze Breezey Masters will compete in the final showdown on Tuesday 25 October at the Espresso Room in Circular Quay, Sydney.
The inaugural competition attracted more than 130 entrants, with eight state rounds taking place over five months.
Head Judges Tony Macri from Coffee Brothers and Frankie Shi from Tulip Shi will assess each cup of coffee on presentation and creativity, as well as taste.
From 6 – 9pm, participants will create six different types of latte art in a 10-minute smack down, using the Almond Breeze product.
The winner will walk away with the title of Grand Breezey Master and a $10,000-prize trip to the United States.
Almond Breeze competition was launched in recognition of the important role baristas play in the lives of everyday Australians.
