Brunetti to celebrate World Nutella Day with free Nutella breakfast

World Nutella Day

Brunetti will offer a custom menu of Nutella breakfast items in celebration of World Nutella Day, 5 February, at its Flinders Lane and Carlton locations in Victoria.

The special menu, including Nutella-filled croissants, bombes (Italian doughnuts) and cannolis, will be available for free with any coffee or drinks purchase.

Brunetti serves its own bespoke Arabica coffee blend, partnering with Italian coffeehouse Lavazza – a first for both Brunetti and Lavazza globally. The Lavazza Brunetti blend, roasted locally in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, is exclusive to Brunetti’s Australian stores.

Brunetti says since 2007, World Nutella Day has united Nutella lovers around the world to celebrate the iconic hazelnut spread.

The cafés will serve the free breakfast creations for one hour from 10am to 11am.

“If last year’s queues are anything to go by, we know that Melbournians really love their Nutella and will do anything for a free fix,” Brunetti Caffe Director Yuri Angele says.

“We thought it would only be right to celebrate everyone’s favourite spread on this momentous day, once again. We cannot wait to serve this Nutella breakfast menu, but my advice is to get in early, as we ran out of stock quite quickly last year.”

Following the free Nutella breakfast hour, Brunetti will sell and promote its wider menu of Nutella-based products. This includes pancakes, crepes, macarons and biscuits.

Participating Brunetti cafés are located at 250 Flinders Lane, Melbourne and 380 Lygon Street, Carlton.
