Byron Bay Cookie Company will join forces with Zest Specialty Coffee Roasters at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo to launch an exclusive coffee and cookie pairing challenge.
From 30 March to 1 April, MICE visitors can match selected cookie flavours with Zest’s specialty blends. Participants will be asked to match the cookies to certain coffees based on shared flavour characteristics shared by both products.
“Coffee and cookies often go hand in hand, and we wanted to explore this a bit further in a creative way,” says Byron Bay Cookie Company Marketing Manager, Emilie Emond.
Also available exclusively at MICE, will be a specially crafted coffee infused cookie, made using Zest’s brewed espresso and coffee beans from the Agropecuaria El Triunfo microlot farm in Nicaragua.
While you’re there, don’t forget to try Byron Bay Cookies’ latest creation, the Rosella Lamington Cookie, developed by celebrated chef Christine Manfield. This cookie combines crunchy coconut and fragrant rosella jelly in a rich cocoa base, and will be available to the café market just in time for Easter and Mother’s Day.
