The 13th edition of CafeSmart is less than two months away. There are more than 30 CafeSmart roaster partners in talks with their café network, encouraging them to sign up to take part in the event.
CafeSmart, run by Australian initiative StreetSmart, is calling out to cafés to join the movement. The event will run from 1 to 7 August, with the main day occurring on Friday 4 August.
The fundraising campaign will see hundreds of roasters and cafés come together to help raise funds and awareness for local grassroots homeless charities. According to CafeSmart, it’s a great opportunity to further engage with connected networks over a great cause and show the public the coffee industry cares about their community and doing good.
Roaster partners have begun including CafeSmart printed flyers in wholesale orders, promoting the event via digital communications and getting account managers chatting to cafés in person.
There are also roasters that will be fundraising during CafeSmart week with pop-up cafés at offices, donating a portion of online bean sales, or hosting exclusive events to help raise awareness with customers.
There are already 380 participating cafés on board that will receive an ‘eco friendly’ pack with posters and stickers to help activate the event at venues and raise vital funds with every coffee poured.
