The Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) will host the last of the 2017 coffee championships at Grinders Coffee in New South Wales from 26 – 27 November.
The Central Region Coffee Championships will see the best baristas from NSW and Northern Territory combine to compete in the Barista, Latte Art, Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters events.
Judges Calibration will commence at Seven Mile Coffee Roasters in Manly Vale on Friday 25 November from 9am – 5pm.
Competitor Practice will take place at Grinders Coffee on Friday 25 November from 3pm onwards.
The events will get underway on Saturday 26 November at 9am and run to 4pm, taking place at Grinders Coffee, 204 Norton Street, Leichhardt, NSW.
On the first day ASCA will run the Central Region Barista Championship from 9am – 2pm.
From 2.30pm to 4pm Central Region Pura Latte Art Championship will take the stage.
On Sunday 27 November from 9am to 1pm will be the Central Region Brewers Cup, and from 1 -2pm the Central Region Cup Tasters Championship will take the floor.
The winners announcements will take place 3pm.
The winners from each event will compete in the National Coffee Championships taking place at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo from 30 March to 1 April 2017.
