Time is running out for Australian participants to apply for Coffee Masters – New York with applications closing 31 August.
Coffee Masters is a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary global barista tournamentwhich sees 16 top baristas from across the globe test their skills in six different challenges that emulate the busy working environment of a professional barista.
The competition will take place at the New York Coffee Festival, which will be held from 12 to 14 October.
The festival offers an opportunity to boost coffee knowledge with industry leaders holding interactive demonstrations and masterclasses.
Guests can also expect key networking and business development opportunities, live music, a coffee-inspired art gallery.
Jake Leonti of F+B Therapy will be curating a sensory experience emulating the experience of a professional taster.
Hundreds of coffee samples from top local and international roasters like Toby’s Estate, Devición, Stumptown, Variety Coffee, Bluestone Lane and Irving Farm will be on offer.
Mr Black and Grey Goose will also be on hand crafting coffee cocktails.
