International coffee roaster Coffee Supreme has invested in Sydney specialty brand Gabriel Coffee.
Founded in 2006 by Sam Gabrielian, Gabriel Coffee is known for its expertise in sourcing and roasting. With a modern coffee facility in Chatswood, the company supplies more than 200 customers
In a statement, Coffee Supreme said that by joining forces the companies will strengthen their ability to support customers, invest in innovation, and drive efficiencies across their operations. This collaboration is also said to allow both brands to maintain their unique identities while benefiting from shared expertise and resources.
“My decision to partner with a renowned brand like Coffee Supreme has been a long and thoughtful journey,” says Sam.
“After years of discussions with Andrew Low, it became clear that our shared values and vision made this partnership the right move. I’m excited to continue doing what I love as Head of Coffee for Australia while also remaining a shareholder in the combined business.”
With this investment, Coffee Supreme will transition its Sydney roasting operations to Gabriel Coffee’s Chatswood facility to consolidate production. However, both brands will continue to operate independently, ensuring customers experience the same coffee, service, and relationships as before.
“This is about strengthening our foundations and ensuring we continue delivering the best coffee experiences for our customers,” says Andrew Low, CEO of Coffee Supreme.
“We’re committed to maintaining the integrity of both brands while creating opportunities for growth and innovation.”
As the specialty coffee industry faces rising costs, this partnership aims to position both businesses for long-term success, combining scale with the craftsmanship and quality that define Coffee Supreme and Gabriel Coffee.
