A leading Australasian coffee roaster has unveiled the new name of its Brisbane flagship with Day Made transitioning to Coffee Supreme Gibbon St.

The coffee shop says aligning its identity with Coffee Supreme was the simple reason behind the move.

Coffee Supreme has been roasting beans in the Brisbane suburb of Woolloongabba for almost five years, and providing a more logical brand for the Gibbon Street store made sense.

“Day Made was such a cool identity, we had fun with it but in the end people didn’t realise it was the same company as the busy roastery around the corner,” Queensland Wholesale Manager Tom Cooney explains.

“It’s important that we’re roasting and despatching daily for our Queensland clients and for ourselves. We love being close to our wholesale customers.”

Coffee Supreme began 26 years ago and has six locations across Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Food and Beverage Manager Tim Norris says making their award-winning brand recognisable across the board was a priority.

“When we launch our special coffees internationally, like Cup of Excellence winning coffees and rare varietals, we want patrons to fully understand that that’s us and they can enjoy that cup of coffee at any of our six hospitality locations,” he says.

Coffee Supreme Gibbon St will be open seven days and will launch its new range later this week.
