Cup of Excellence partners with Origami

Honduras Cup of Excellence

The non-profit Cup of Excellence (CoE) has formed a partnership with Origami that will extend to product collaborations, Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE) membership benefits, and Sensory Education Training (SET). Both CoE and Origami say they’re strongly focused in quality, creating a natural partnership between the organisations.

“We discovered we have a lot in common – innovation is a mutual focal point for us and we both have a passion for providing the very best quality that we want to share with specialty coffee lovers around the globe,” says Managing Director, Marketing and Membership for Alliance for Coffee Excellence, Anna Abatzoglou.

Origami, based in Gifu, Japan, produces high quality porcelain and has swiftly earned praise with their dripper. In support of CoE’s mission to advance excellence in coffee, Origami has collaborated with CoE to develop a cupping bowl, which will launch later of 2021.

“We are pleased to announce this partnership with Cup of Excellence and Alliance for Coffee Excellence. We both have the same passion for the very best quality coffee. Origami encourages the industry by providing the best quality products.” said Yosuke Furuhata of ORIGAMI.

Origami products are also included in CoE’s SET Virtual Calibration courses this year; the first course sold out and two more are scheduled for the summer. ACE members and CoE partner country organisations will also enjoy discounts on Origami products as part of this partnership.
