De’Longhi Australia has launched its first Coffee Lounge, a physical space designed for Australians to enhance their at-home coffee experience.

The De’Longhi Coffee Lounge is located in Zetland, Sydney and provides coffee education through training and demonstrations using De’Longhi’s range of manual and automatic coffee machines.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be launching our very first De’Longhi Coffee Lounge in Australia, and in fact the world,” says George O’Neil, Marketing Director at De’Longhi.
“This is just another way in which De’Longhi is investing in coffee education for all Australians.”

The lounge aims to cater to all Australians, regardless of where they are on their coffee journey, from beginner level to home barista, the space is designed to deepen attendees’ knowledge and skills.

De’Longhi’s Coffee Lounge allows visitors to get hands-on with a range of automatic and manual De’Longhi coffee machines, learn about the different varieties of coffee beans and milk as well as help them to find their perfect coffee roast.

A sensory coffee experience is also available in which visitors can see, taste, and smell coffee beans from local artisan roasters that match their flavour profile.

“We hope that this provides all visitors with a space to help them find the best machine to suit their coffee needs, enhance their at-home coffee experience and help them become a budding barista,” says George.

“Whether you’re looking for a machine and don’t know where to start or a coffee aficionado looking to attend a hands-on masterclass to enhance your skills, the Sydney Coffee Lounge caters to every single person. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Landor & Fitch and MPA – both of which were instrumental in making this dream become a reality.”

This follows the unveiling of the brand’s virtual Coffee Lounge, which is an online destination for coffee education and exploration.

The Sydney Coffee Lounge opened to the public on 5 November.
