The London Coffee Festival returns for sixth edition

The United Kingdom is getting ready to welcome its sixth edition of The London Coffee Festival. Taking place from 7 – 10 April at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, as many as 35,000 people are expected to join this year’s coffee celebrations.

South Korea wins World Latte Art, Greece wins World Coffee in Good Spirits

Australia’s reign as World Latte Art Champion is over. Um Paul of South Korea won the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) on 1 April, ending Caleb Cha’s reign as the world’s best latte artist. Qi Li from China placed second, Minako Yoshizumi from Japan placed third, Dhang Tamang of the United Kingdom placed fourth, Agnieszka Rojewska of Poland placed fifth, and Sensory Lab’s Ben Morrow placed sixth in the WLAC finals.

IWCA Australian Chapter to host Queensland origin trip

The International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Australian Chapter formation will host its second origin trip from 29 March to 2 April – this time to far North Queensland. Women and men of the coffee community are invited to explore Queensland’s coffee growing regions and the people and communities that make it such a unique part of Australia’s coffee identity.
