This eye-catching strawberry matcha cooler was the drink of summer. Learn how to recreate it at your venue, or at home, with MILKLAB’s easy-to-follow recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry puree
  • Ice
  • MILKLAB of your choice

Preparation

  1. Sieve the matcha and place it in a bowl with 40 millilitres of 80°C water. Whisk to combine.
  2. In the serving cup, add strawberry puree to the base and sides and then fill with ice.
  3. Pour over MILKLAB of your choice and then pour the matcha on top for a layered effect. Serve immediately.

“The drink of 2024, Strawberry Matcha popped up in cafés across Australia. The distinct colours and layers offer a visual element that your customers will love,” says MILKLAB Brand Manager Melanie Ung.

“Instead of strawberry puree, you can use strawberry syrup or a blend of strawberry syrup and strawberry jam to add your own spin.”
