Industry Beans and Mr Black have teamed up to create an espresso martini for home consumption.
The roaster and coffee liqueur manufacturer say the collaboration evolved from the need to make mixing drinks easier at home.
“When the Mr Black team reached out to let us know that they’d tried our two products together and that it was the best home espresso martini recipe they’d tasted, without espresso, we knew we had something to celebrate,” says Industry Beans Marketing Director Claire Brill.
Simply shake two parts Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur with one part Industry Beans’ Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate, then strain to reveal an espresso martini.
Made from a specially roasted three bean blend, Industry Beans’ Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate is an all-natural, 100 per cent pure concentrated coffee extract. Mr Black’s Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur is made from Australian wheat vodka, a touch of cane sugar and cold brewed specialty coffee.
“Aussies are drinking more cocktails than ever before, and the category growth is being led by demand for premium brands and products. People are learning that it’s easy to make bar-quality cocktails at home if you have the right ingredients, which are now readily available and often locally produced,” says Mr Black’s Head of Marketing Marty Williams.
In celebration of this partnership and World Martini Day on the 18 June, Industry Beans and Mr Black are hosting The Espresso Martini Party at Industry Beans’ Chadstone venue in Melbourne, with the two brands also running a competition to give away a year’s supply of espresso martinis.
