Coffee roaster Industry Beans has held the much-awaited grand opening of its newest flagship venue at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Victoria on 15 April.
The welcoming space serves as an all-day dining café and restaurant, coffeehouse and roastery – boasting an unobscured view of where all the magic happens. The Chadstone location is an opportunity for Industry Beans to showcase the passion and techniques behind its coffee roasting, all while offering a behind-the-scenes look at the unique processes that go into making the liquid gold so many of us cannot live without it.
Comfortably seating 100, doors are open seven days and three nights per week. The creative menu consists of brunch favourites such as Industry Beans’ Porcini Nest, Chilli Barramundi Folded Eggs, and Coffee Rubbed Wagyu Burger. The new Chadstone venue also welcomes an all-day offering to transition from lunch into the evening, including a Sous Vide Salmon Garden, Chicken & Munthari Berry Terrine, and Coffee Rubbed Quail. A signature cocktail and wine list complements the menu and offers an excuse to stop for a refreshment after a long day of shopping.
The sleek, compact design of the roastery is thanks to co-owners Steve and Trevor’s keen eye for consistency and making the most of space. The two have worked closely with renowned Melbourne architects March Studio, which also designed the Industry Beans Coffee Arch that has been set up at Chadstone Shopping Centre the past few months.
The elegant design of the new restaurant reflects that of the Coffee Arch and displays signature Industry Beans look and feel – minimalist, spacious and white, with abundant natural light, custom planting throughout and carefully chosen, complimentary details.
“Over the last three months at The Coffee Arch, we had a fantastic response from the Chadstone community – warm, welcoming and genuinely interested and curious about our coffee. It’s been the best affirmation for what we’re building, and we couldn’t be more excited to open the doors to our new flagship and take the next steps of our journey – from take away coffee to café, restaurant, coffee roastery, retail shop and more,” Steve and Trevor say.
