Coffee Supreme International has appointed Jessica Godfrey to the newly created role of International Marketing Manager.
“Although we have had plenty of marketing outputs, we haven’t ever had anyone dedicated solely to that role,” Coffee Supreme International CEO Al Keating says.
“Now that we’re in seven cities across three countries, it really felt about time we did appoint someone. Jess was by far the standout candidate.”
Jessica is the Immediate Past President of the New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association. Sherecently departed from her role as General Manager of Sales and Marketing of New Zealand-based cup company Acme and Co.
“The first time Al and I spoke about working together was in 2011 over sushi. Good things take time.” Godfrey says.
“I’m proud of what we achieved at Acme. The perception of the product when I started was ‘cheap Chinese cups’. That just gave me the fire to change the mindset of the brand and to grow it internationally. Now I’m looking forward to the different challenge of working with a more established brand with big ambitions.”
Jessica has been connected to Coffee Supreme for a long time. The first time she ever used an espresso machine was as a teen and the beans were Belaroma, the company that would become Coffee Supreme in 1993.
