Jet Technologies partners with Di Stefano to supply luxury hotels

Jet Technologies and coffee roaster Di Stefano have partnered to expand into the luxury hotel market in Australia.

Di Stefano says a period of sustained growth led to the opportunity. The two companies struck a partnership when Di Stefano looked into packaging solutions designed to match its new target market.

“The packaging solution provided by Jet Technologies has enabled the Di Stefano brand name to successfully re-align itself in an ever changing, competitive Australian market,” says Daniel Malki, General Manager of Jet Technologies.

Jet Technologies is a supplier of sustainable packaging, specialising in products for the coffee industry.

“In addition to the right look, the packaging is also strong and reliable, maximising the freshness of the coffee and longevity of shelf life,” Daniel says.

Di Stefano chose a full colour premium laminate to ensure the coffee bags stood out visually on shelf. A foil structure with one-way degassing valves were selected to optimise the coffee’s shelf life and maximise protection.

Father and son team Giuseppe and Nicola launched Di Stefano in 2000. The company’s roasting facility based in Sydney has the capacity to roast up to 1.2-tonnes per hour.

“We were looking to synergise the Di Stefano brand with a move into high-end luxury hotels, as we believe the elegance emitted from these types of establishments dually complements the brand identity of hotelier and roaster,” says Nicola Di Stefano, Business Development Manager, Di Stefano Specialty Coffee Roasters.

“We believe our signature blend has the flavour profile to match the elegance and opulent setting.”

One of the hotels Di Stefano has recently begun supplying coffee is the five-star Langham Hotel in Sydney.

“We are excited that we have now been able to enhance the perception and quality of our esteemed brand,” says Nicola.

The partnership with the Langham has been successful according to Nicola, who says that it is helping Di Stefano establish a presence in markets centered around fine dining.

Jet Technologies now handles Di Stefano’s supply and logistics Australia-wide and is the single provider of packaging solutions for the coffee roaster.

“Jet Technologies has acted as our one stop shop for packaging, to help us reach this milestone. It has been easy working with Jet Technologies who go to extra lengths to ensure our requirements are achieved in line with specifications and deadlines,” says Nicola.
