Espresso equipment manufacturer La Marzocco has launched Wally Milk, an automatic milk steamer that streamlines and simplifies the process of frothing milk while offering the flexibility to manage multiple milk types, temperatures, and foam levels.

This includes non-dairy alternatives, with Wally Milk designed to create the perfect steamed milk with minimal training and attention.

For professional baristas, La Marzocco says its new steamer allows them to shift their focus to efficiency behind the bar, the pour itself, and the craft that goes into latte art. This also allows them more time to interact with customers.

Equipped with sensors that monitor milk temperature and milk level, La Marzocco’s new steamer offers options for multi-level consistency and perfect results time and time again.

Wally Milk also features a preventative alert system, La Marzocco proprietary software steam wand, 24-voltage electronics, an exclusive vortex steam tip, and automatic jug recognition.

It is able to create up to 20 different recipes, using combinations of different milk types, temperatures, and frothing levels, with easy to access working parts of the machine offering technicians easy access and reduced machine downtime.

The Wally Milk is compatible with all La Marzocco and Modbar models – as well as most espresso machines – and comes with a fun swag and accessory kit, including three pitchers.

The Wally Milk was first unveiled at Host 2019, and will be exhibited again from 22 to 26 October at Host 2021 in Milan.

To commemorate the launch, the Florentine manufacturer has released its global digital campaign featuring a video release and an original comic-stripe storytelling format.
