Lavazza Australia launches Smeg capsule coffee machine collection

Lavazza Australia has announced the launch of its new custom-designed A Modo Mio capsule coffee machine collection, made in collaboration with Italian appliance brand Smeg.

Available in Smeg’s three most popular colours – cream, black, and red – the new Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg machine retails for $349 and is available exclusively at The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, and through Lavazza Australia’s new eCommerce store – www.lavazza.com.au

Smeg is “inspired by the Golden Age of the 1950s”, combining Italian design, “award-winning” style, and “enduring performance made for coffee connoisseurs”.

The new machine pairs with the entire Lavazza A Modo Mio capsule range, which in “true barista style” comes with a full 7.5 grams of pre-tamped coffee. Lavazza Australia says this allows water to pass through more evenly than other coffee capsules, maximising texture, flavour, and quality.

Lavazza says the secret to its A Modo Mio capsules lies in how it celebrates quality Italian coffee. The A Modo Mio machines extract coffee for 20 to 25 seconds for an overall richer, creamier and more barista-like coffee than faster models.
