Stokd Founder Joseph Stock discusses how his experiences in hospitality drove him to create a new supply ordering platform.

In hospitality, time is the most valuable resource yet some ordering platforms still force venues to juggle multiple systems, manual updates, and clunky workflows. Stokd was built to remove that noise and make the process easier and faster.

There is no resource more valuable in the hospitality industry than time, yet most ordering platforms still require venues to juggle multiple systems, manual updates, and clunky workflows. As hospo people we built Stokd to remove that noise.

Connecting venues to existing suppliers with zero disruption while giving the choice to keep trade terms or pay by card has been a key driver for what we want to achieve with this platform, while adding a supplier for a new product is as simple as a search.

Where we really change the game is live data. Our Menu COGS tool pulls real-time pricing from suppliers to ensure costing are always accurate. We have designed, automated, and connected everything for how hospo actually works.

There is no double-handling, no outdated pricing, and no bouncing between apps. We have done our best to create smarter way for venues to run their back-of-house operations.
