Maltra Foods develops and manufactures high quality powdered and dry-blended products for hot beverages, iced blended beverages, sports nutrition and baking categories across both foodservice and retail.
Its brand, Arkadia Beverages is crafted and blended in Melbourne. It produces chai tea, drinking chocolate, frappes and soft serves, suited to both cafes at at-home experiences.
Maltra Foods General Manager Henri Kalisse says over the company’s 20 years of experience, its greatest feat has been driving innovation and creating flavour profiles for high quality café products Australian consumers love.
“Maltra has also been on the forefront of sourcing cocoa from different regions of the world, developing single origin drinking chocolates and the best blends,” Henri says.
He adds that Maltra Foods has also successfully helped steer the instant chai market in Australia, with its powdered Arkadia Chai product taking chai products from “an oddity to mainstream”.
