While the curtain has now set on the 2026 Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE), planning is already well underway for next year’s edition of the southern hemisphere’s premier coffee event.
The 2026 edition of the show recorded a total of 14,159 unique visitors across three action packed days at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), with 35.1 per cent of those being café owners.
MICE Education Moderator and Show Lead, Sarah Baker, says MICE continues to establish itself as an annual platform for the Australian and international coffee communities to gather and grow.
“What makes MICE so important is the way it brings the entire industry together in one place, from producers and roasters through to café owners and suppliers,” says Sarah.
“It’s where ideas are shared, challenges are unpacked, and real opportunities are created.”

The 2027 edition of the show is confirmed to be taking place from 4 to 6 March, once again at the MCEC.
The BeanScene powered Café Owners Education Series will return with an expanded program of practical, business-focused sessions, covering everything from pricing and profitability through to operations, staffing, and evolving customer expectations, all tailored to café owners and operators looking to strengthen performance.
The Trip to Origin feature will continue to spotlight producing countries and green bean suppliers, bringing origin stories, cupping experiences, and supply chain insight to the forefront, while giving attendees a deeper understanding of sourcing, sustainability, and global market shifts.
The Roasters Playground will once again provide roasters with a dedicated platform to showcase their coffees, connect directly with buyers, and build brand recognition among a highly engaged audience of café owners and industry professionals.
MICE at Night will enter its second iteration on the Friday night with extended show hours designed to help café owners and operators attend the show after trade hours and be included in networking and exhibitor conversations.
