Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) has partnered with leading domestic coffee equipment manufacturer Breville to launch the Melbourne Coffee Festival at the international tradeshow taking place from 20 to 22 March.

The new section of the show has been established to offer at-home brewers and coffee professionals the opportunity to learn from industry experts, enhance their coffee-making skills, and connect with fellow coffee fans.

“We are really excited to be launching Melbourne Coffee Festival at MICE. We know how important crafting a beautiful cup of coffee is to Australia’s home brewers, so we wanted to create an area that specifically caters to their needs, interests, and questions – as well as baristas who want to finesse their skills,” said Lauren Chartres, MICE Show Director.

“Partnering with Breville, we want to help consumers unlock professional performance at home. There’s a lot of information out there, but there’s nothing like learning something firsthand from professionals in an environment that welcomes questions, curiosity, and collaboration.”

The Melbourne Coffee Festival will feature a demonstration stage where attendees can check out the latest equipment, watch tutorials from leading industry experts, and take part in hands-on tastings and experiences. A mirrored glass backdrop will give attendees a unique view behind the espresso machine, so they don’t miss any of the action.

“Espresso is at the heart of Breville’s product portfolio, and there’s no better place to celebrate that than the Melbourne International Coffee Expo. MICE is a key opportunity for us to engage with Australia’s passionate coffee community, connect with industry leaders, and demonstrate how our products empower coffee lovers – at home and in cafés – to achieve barista-quality results,” said Candi Hart, Breville General Manager of Marketing & Specialty Coffee for Australia.

“This year, we are thrilled to bring our four core coffee brands – Breville, LELIT, Baratza, and Beanz.com – together under one roof at MICE. This is a unique opportunity to showcase our full ecosystem of specialty coffee solutions, from precision grinding to barista-quality espresso and curated beans, all designed to elevate the coffee experience for professionals and home enthusiasts alike.

“MICE is a cornerstone event for both the Australian and international coffee community, and we are delighted to be playing a significant role as a Platinum Sponsor for 2025.”

Alongside the demo stage at Melbourne Coffee Festival will be the Espresso Bar, sponsored by Melbourne specialty roaster The Bean Cartel. In the mornings, the team will serve their award-winning coffees, while in the afternoon the baristas will shake up espresso martinis and other coffee-infused drinks – as well as what they’re tipping to be ‘the next big thing’ in signature drinks.

Tickets for MICE2025 can be purchased in advance from the MICE website.
