United Supplies has won People’s Choice for the Milkit Dual Milk Tap system in the 2019 Product Innovation Awards, held at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE).

“We’re beyond excited to have won the people’s choice award for the Milkit Dual Milk Tap system. Being recognised by our peers with this award is a great honour,” says Nicole Saleh, Marketing Director for United Supplies.

The Milkit Dual Milk Tap allows two milk varieties to be dispensed from two taps in unison. Once connected and utilising two 10-litre milk bladders, milk can be dispensed in pre-set half or full jug volumes or through manual settings. The system was designed with cafés in mind and to be easily installed onto an existing café bench top and refrigeration unit.

A Milkit system was on display at both the United Supplies and Riverina Fresh stands at MICE2019.

“Riverina was able to showcase its milk through the Milkit system. It was fantastic to have partners onboard who believe in the product and could demonstrate its benefits,” Ncole says.

“Working with a milk company goes hand in hand with [developing] a milk tap system. To have the support of Riverina Fresh allows us to work with a reputable partner in the industry. We enjoy that reciprocal relationship.”

The Product Innovation Awards are a celebration of the industry’s most advanced products which largely contribute to the growth and quality of Australia’s coffee production and consumption.

Brewbar’s Energy Bar system was award first place in the 2019 Product Innovation Awards Judge’s Choice category. Rancilio placed second for the Rancilio Specialty RS1 espresso machine, and Ordermentum placed third for its Business Insights for Coffee Roasters data collection.

“We were able to showcase three Product Innovation Award finalists on our stand at MICE2019. In addition to the Milkit Dual Milk Tap system, we were proud to showcase the Rancilio Specialty RS1, which we are proud to announce United Supplies is an official distributor of. We also spotlighted the Perfect Moose foaming system as well,” Nicole says.

“United Supplies is proud and excited to bring these innovative products to the industry.”

MICE2019 was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 to 9 February.
