Minas Hill Coffee to hold Our Farmers, Our Heroes panel discussion

Minas Hill Sydney

On 4 February, Minas Hill Coffee will bring together prominent people from within the coffee industry for a one-night-only panel to discuss current projects and initiatives in Brazil.

Our farmers, Our heroes: A panel discussion about sustainability, transparency and women in coffee will touch on topics ranging from the international coffee price, processing and economics to social projects, the environment, and the role of women in coffee.

Guest Speakers will include Minas Hill’s Brazilian farming partners Ismael Andrade, Gabriel Oliveira and Pedro Gabarra, Melanie Mokken of Utz and Rainforest Alliance Australia, Joe Molloy of Rumble Coffee Roasters, and Tina Wendel of the Flowers in Action Project and 23 Degrees coffee roasters.

Minas Hill says the panel will help different ends of the supply chain understand each other, the existing situation, and how they can network within the coffee community to find solutions.

To conclude the dialogue, the panel open to the audience for Q&A sessions.

Following the discussion, Minas Hill will hold an informal gathering for further conversation, networking, drinks, music and nibbles.

The event will be held at Au79 in Abbotsford, Victoria.
