After ‘Apricot’ in 2024 and ‘Ocean’ in 2025, Moccamaster has released its third annual ‘Colour of the Year’ limited edition machine, with ‘Sorbet’ taking out this year’s crown.
Each year, the new Colour of the Year edition machine is added to Moccamaster’s KBG Select collection, with the seach commencing a full year in advance.
After analysing trends in various markets including fashion and interior design, several rounds of samples are created to dial into the correct colour and finish.
Machines with this year’s colour, Sorbet, are created with a glossy finish.
Moccamaster has labelled Sorbet as “a warm, energetic shade that radiates optimism and cheerfulness without being too flashy.”
“The colour is reminiscent of long summer days and soft sunsets, giving every daily ritual a fresh, positive vibe,” Moccamaster continues.
“Sorbet is striking, yet refined and pleasant in any interior. The glossy finish enhances this effect and gives the colour extra depth and a high-quality look.
