Dimattina Coffee installs latest Goglio vertical form fill seal

From the November 2017 issue.

Melbourne roaster Dimattina Coffee has installed a Goglio vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machine to give it an edge in the competitive wholesale roasting market.

The installation of Goglio’s G21 VFFS machine is the Melbourne roaster's newest packing machine to service its fast growth alongside the café market.

Dimattinas’ Lino Bettiol and Agim Tarevski purchased the G21 through Jet Technologies. What attracted Dimattina to the G21 were its proven operations in the Australian market, and the ability to purchase the machine, coffee laminates, and degassing valves from a single source.

The Goglio G21 is built specifically for coffee. It can pack coffee in premium bags, allowing medium to large coffee roasters to compete with multinational brands.

Dimattina packs its coffee using the G21 machine in 1-kilogram bags, increasing its output to 24 bags per minute.

With Lino’s roasting expertise of more than 30 years, Dimattina says it is always looking to improve its operations and plan ahead for increased volume.
