Dubai and Belo Horizonte to host 2018 World Coffee Championships

World Coffee Events (WCE) has announced Dubai and Belo Horizonte as new host cities of the 2018 World Coffee Championships.

Competitions will take place at four different events in three countries throughout 2018.

Earlier this year, WCE announced Amsterdam as the host of the 2018 World Barista Championship, taking place 19 – 21 June, 2018 at World of Coffee Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

On 11 September, WCE announced Dubai as the host city of the World Cezve/Ibrik Championship, taking place from 18 – 22 February, 2018, at Gulfood in the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates.

The World Brewers Cup, World Cup Tasters Championship, and World Coffee Roasting Championship will take place from 16 – 18 September 2018 at GulfHost as part of Dubai International Hospitality Week.

The World Latte Art Championship and World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship will take place in November 2018 at Brazil International Coffee Week in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

WCE is a subsidiary of the Specialty Coffee Association, dedicated to increasing access to specialty coffee programming and community by producing the World Coffee Championships and other events.

For the championships, WCE works with host partners to deliver engaging live experiences that are streamed to a global internet audience.
