Fine Food Australia kicks off in Sydney

From the September 2017 issue.

The 33rd edition of Fine Food Australia has returned to Sydney after two years at the newly-built ICC Exhibition Building in Darling Harbour with two floors dedicated to all the latest products and equipment in the food and beverage sectors.

The event, taking place until 14 September, is hosting an array of coffee industry brands including Pauls Professional, Coffee Works Express, Service Sphere, Kuvings, Coffee Machine Technologies, Five Senses Coffee, Maltra Foods, Marco Beverage Systems, Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions, Monin, Coffee Galleria, Adore, Zest Specialty Coffee, Vitasoy, Freedom Foods Group, and many more.

Fine Foods is also hosting the Nestlé Golden Chef's Hat Awards, a talk on the future of foodservice, and the Lions' Den, where Cerebos Executive Chef Adam Moore and panel of industry experts will guide business pitches from start-ups. The finalists pitching to the Lions include order and payments system Ordermentum, The Australian Superfood Co, Kind Provisions, Kakadu Plum Co, facial recognition software Noah Facial Recognition, and Nom Nom World Food.

The best pitch will win entry into the Foodservice Suppliers Association Australia Understanding Foodservice Program. Considered a crucial education opportunity for any person wanting a career in the foodservice industry, the two-day program dissects trends, dynamics, size, structure and other essential information pertaining to the food industry market.

Fine Food Australia is open on Wednesday 13 September from 10am to 6pm and Thursday 10am to 4pm.
