The New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association (NZSCA) has announced the 2023 event dates for the New Zealand Barista, Latte Art and Cup Tasters Championships.
The Meadow Fresh New Zealand Barista Championship will take place from 25 to 26 March 2023 at Whirinaki Whare Toanga, Upper Hutt.
The Meadow Fresh New Zealand Latte Art Championship will take place on 5 August 2023 at The Sapphire Room, Ponsonby, Auckland.
The New Zealand Cup Tasters Championship will take place on 6 August 2023, also at The Sapphire Room, from 3.30pm to 8pm.
The NZSCA says its planning ahead for the year to get as many of the community involved in its events.
According to the association, its events are the perfect learning opportunity for baristas to grow in their roles as hospitality superstars.
The NZSCA is excited to support Luise Metelka on the World Barista Championship stage at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE).
