The New Zealand Specialty Coffee Guild (NZSCG) will host a nationwide blind cupping of washed and processed coffees from 17 roasting companies from 3 to 25 July.
The same coffees will be available at each of the events throughout the country.
The cupping will take place simultaneously over four days in eight different venues including North Shore, New Plymouth, Auckland, Hamptons, Palmerston North, Christchurch, Napier, and Wellington.
All washed processed coffees will be cupped from 3 to 4 July and all others the week of 21 to 28 July.
The NZSCG says the event is open to cuppers of all levels of experience and is a fantastic chance to sample coffee from all across New Zealand.
New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association members have roasted the coffees and companies across the country. This includes Kōkako Coffee Roasters, Aoraki Coffee, Sparrows Coffee, Ozone Coffee Roasters, Ebony Coffee, and Prefab
