Coffee roaster Piazza D’Oro is teaming up with the Nathan Coffee School to host a one-off coffee masterclass on 7 December 2024 in Queensland.
At the Ashton & Old in Camp Hill café in Brisbane, guests will learn to become a barista, with an exclusive latte art workshop, free-flowing coffee, and a brunch menu curated by My Kitchen Rules chef Arrnott Olssen.
The event will feature hands-on training with the team at Nathan Coffee School, where guests will create their own bespoke latte art, alongside an exploration into the versatility of Piazza D’Oro coffee beans. In order to showcase the skills learnt during the hands-on brunch, each guest will be awarded a certificate in latte art from the coffee school.
Also included in the booking is a gourmet menu specially curated by Arrnott. The TV chef will bring influences of his Fijian heritage to this menu designed to pair perfectly with the Forza and Mezzo blend from Piazza D’Oro.
“Arrnott has spent time recipe testing with Piazza D’Oro’s Forza and Mezzo Blend to create a menu infused with coffee. From avo toast with coffee-infused balsamic reduction to maple syrup and coffee sticky chicken wings, guests will be able to sample the beans they are learning about in all ways possible,” Piazza D’Oro said in a statement.
“For just $25, coffee enthusiasts will receive certification in latte art, two hours of free flowing coffee, and a specially curated dish from Arrnott Olssen, with a coffee infused sweet treat to finish.”
