Project Origin will host a Cupping Basics masterclass at its Canberra headquarters in Canberra on 9 April.
Cupping is the method used by coffee professionals all across the world to taste and select coffee, using intricate scoresheets and grading systems.
The masterclass aims to give an introduction to the process of cupping and how to identify flavour profiles and characteristics in coffee.
In the coming weeks, Project Origin will be running an Autumn Cupping Tour. It will visit cities across Australia to show new and exciting experimental lots from its new CM Selections series.
Four of the six finalists in the Australian Specialty Coffee (ASCA) Australian Barista Championships and three of the ASCA Brewers Cup finalists used CM Selections coffees, including the new 2018 Australian Brewers Cup Champion, Heath Dalziel.
