A Pullman tamper is perfectly matched to a Pullman filtration basket. It means more control over the variables affecting espresso extraction and a superior outcome for coffee makers.

To avoid the common problem of large deviation of internal diameters between and within manufacturers, Pullman has designed its own range of ridgeless filter baskets for a 58-millimetre group head. These baskets are suited for tampers of 58 millimetres to 58.4 millimetre in diameter. For maximum surface coverage, Pullman’s BigStep base of 58.55 millimetres will provides the best possible result with a hole diameter of 0.3 +/-0.02 millimetres. Polished, no burrs, no scratches, no misshaped holes.

Pullman’s 19 gram to 22 gram filtration 876 series baskets is the official filter basket of the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA), It will be used in all ASCA competitions for the next three years, continuing its five-year support as a proud sponsor.
