Comparison website Finder.com has awarded Riverina Fresh the Finder Retail Award for the Top-Rated Fresh Milk Brand for the second year in a row.

The 100 per cent Australian-owned and independent dairy producer’s win is based on feedback from thousands of consumers surveyed on taste, freshness, packaging design and value for money. Ninety-seven per cent of consumers said they would recommend Riverina Fresh to others.

“It’s a pretty exciting result. Riverina Fresh is highly regarded by consumers, many of whom buy the product for their home coffee game, and this award is a great testament that coffee lovers across Australia are enjoying our product,” says Riverina Fresh CEO Rob Collier.

“Not only is Riverina Fresh milk great drinking, but it’s the backbone to really great milk-based coffee in terms of taste, texture and freshness. Consumers are seeing it at their local café and are actively looking for it on the retail shelf.”

It’s been a year of awards for Riverina Fresh, with gold medals also received at the Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) of New South Wales 2022 Sydney Royal Awards and 2022 Dairy Industry Association (DIAA) New South Wales Awards.

Riverina Fresh made DIAA New South Wales history this year, winning a gold medal for every fresh white milk it produces. This haul saw Riverina Fresh take home the ‘Ray de la Motte Most Consistent Exhibitor’ Title in recognition of the brand’s high tally points across all dairy categories in this year’s competition.

“This is the first time in our 100-year history – and that of the DIAA awards – that all our white milks have won a gold medal in one competition. We couldn’t be prouder of our farmers, employees and partners who work together to produce premium quality, 100 per cent Australian-owned milk products from the heart of the Riverina,” says Rob.

“It’s a fantastic recognition of the quality and consistency of our products for a medium-sized regional business to receive so many awards against such strong competition. To do all of this in our centenary year is a great boost to our ongoing celebrations.”

Established in 1922, Riverina Fresh is a 100 per cent Australian-owned company that works with 20 dairy farmers in the Riverina region. It supplies milk and dairy products to supermarkets and cafés in New South Wales, Victoria, and the Australian Capital Territory.
