Rumble Coffee Roasters will host a Do It Yourself (DIY) Café Marketing Essentials event at its Kensington roastery on 20 November.

At the Melbourne event, hospitality marketing expert Holly Formosa will share qualified and practical advice on how to successfully attract and retain customers on a shoestring budget.

Holly is a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant who has worked with some of Melbourne’s most iconic hospitality and food organisations. The list includes Hanoi Hannah, Arbory, Estelle, Huxtaburger, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Ramblr, Saigon Sally, Saint Crispin, and The Town Mouse.

DIY Café Marketing Essentials will cover the most common website mistakes in hospitality, basics of search optimisation, and how to understand Facebook and Instagram algorithms.

Holly will teach attendees how to sponsor Facebook posts to new audiences, what the media want and how to pitch your business, and the best way to deal with negative customer reviews.

She will also reveal how to access the best free DIY marketing tools, and how to define and measure marketing success.

Rumble will provide attendees with an e-Book full of practical marketing tips, templates, and resources.
