The 2018 Australian AeroPress Championship is taking place tonight at Seven Seeds tonight from 5:30pm – 10:30pm.
The space-themed event will see regional AeroPress champions face off for the chance to compete in the World AeroPress Championship, to be held at Commune in Sydney on 17 November.
The Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmanian, South and Western Australian AeroPress Champions Zachary Edwards, Kurnia Firduas, Barry Newell, Lucy McCarroll, Dave Sharp and Teo Jo-Hann, respectively, will compete for the national title.
Victorian AeroPress Champion Ben Toovey is unable to attend due to prior commitments.
Entry for spectators is free. Blackhearts and Sparrows will sell wine and Colonial Brewing will provide beers for $5 each. Food trucks will be set up at the event.
Seven Seeds roastery is located at 7 Montefiore St, Fairfield.
