Fine Food Queensland will take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 10 – 12 April.
Fine Food Queensland is the regional trade food show with a focus on the foodservice, retail and hospitality industry of Queensland.
From sustainable packaging to baking secrets, event organisers say this year’s show promises to bring the best of the state’s producers and businesses to the forefront of the food and hospitality industry.
As such, Fine Food Queensland will host workshop sessions focusing on coffee set up, technique, and strategic discussion around café trends. Grinders Coffee National Coffee Ambassador Shae Macnamara – fresh from Shanghai after placing fourth in the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship – will speak to audiences about temperature profiling and how to get the best espresso.
Tim Adams of Tim Adams Sepcialty Coffee will speak about optimising coffee set up and how to perfect latte art.
Tim won the 2009 Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Australian Barista Champion, and placed thirteenth at the World Barista Championships in 2009. Australia at the World Barista Championship.
The Talking Food Stage at Fine Food Queensland will also host information sessions on topics including sustainability, food trends, technology and social media, as well as expert advice on staffing and management.
Coffee industry exhibitors at this year’s event includes Bear Bones Specialty Coffee Roasters, Chiasso Coffee Roasters, Sunshine Coast Coffee Roastery, and Monin.
