Single O is celebrating its 20-year anniversary with a ‘Festival of Twenty’, offering free coffee at its Surry Hills location on Thursday 16 March from 9am to 9:20am.

Co-founded in 2003, the roaster was formerly known as Single Origin Roasters, but was quickly abbreviated by the original Surry Hills café’s customers.
Raised on a passion for sourcing, sampling, cupping, roasting, measuring, calibrating, tweaking, blending and tasting, Single O has been blown away by the subtle yet distinct flavour of every single origin. When taking a first crack at creating a blend, Single O had an epiphany around single origins and introducing them to customers. It set about chasing choice, traceable and unblended beans from around the world and sharing their stories via tasting notes and producer info.
