The Milan Coffee Festival is making its debut this year, opening its doors for the first time in Italy from 30 November to 2 December. The festival will play host to Milan’s growing specialty coffee community at the Spazio Pelota venue in Italy.
Sponsoring the event, La Marzocco will host a large booth celebrating the community and those who are passionate about great coffee. Dedicated areas for the Leva X and the new Modbar AV will give event goers a close-up look at the latest products from the Modbar and La Marzocco family.

Brittany Gunther of Grinders Coffee prepares for Coffee Masters – New York 2018
From 12 to 14 October, Coffee Masters – New York 2018 will see Brittany Gunther of Grinders Coffee represent Australia in the multi-disciplinary competition.
This is Brittany’s second time competing in a Coffee Masters event, making the cut for Coffee Master – London 2017 last year.
“I really enjoyed it the first time,” Brittany says. “It’s going to be interesting to see where my skills are at a year and a half later.”

Brittany Gunther of Grinders Coffee named Coffee Masters – New York contender
The finalists for Coffee Masters – New York 2018 have been announced, including Australia’s Brittany Gunther of Grinders Coffee.
Brittany will compete for the grand prize of US$5000 (approximately $6885) at The New York Coffee Festival, taking place from 12 – 14 October.
Other finalists include Anthony Knauf of Black Sheep Coffee in New Zealand and numerous baristas from Europe as well as North and Central America.

Australia’s Shinsaku Fukayama of St Ali is hoping to add to his winning streak when he competes in London Coffee Masters at The London Coffee Festival this week.
‘Shin’ was crowned the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) 2018 Australian Latte Art Champion at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo in March.
