The World of Coffee trade show in Berlin, Germany saw new World Latte Art (WLAC), Coffee in Good Spirits (WCIGS), Cup Tasters, and Cezve/Ibrik Champions crowned on 8 June.
Manuela Fensore of Barlady Café Academy in Italy won the 2019 WLAC. Hao-Yuan Chen of Taiwan placed second and Liu Guoqiang of Sanshierli Academy in China placed third.

Meet the 2018 World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion: Dan Fellows
Dan Fellows’ first attempt at the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (CIGS) in 2012 left him feeling as though he had something to prove.
“[I] finished fourth after having issues with an AeroPress in the finals round,” Dan says. “As I did not feel I delivered my best possible performance that year, this has always left me with a feeling of having unfinished business with CIGS. Becoming World Champion very much feels like redemption.”

Yama Kim of Kingswood Coffee wins 2018 World Cup Tasters Championship
Yama Kim of Kingswood Coffee in Sydney has won the 2018 World Cup Tasters Championship at the World Coffee Championships, held in Brazil from 7 to 9 November.
In the final round of the competition, Yama correctly identified seven out of eight different coffees in four minutes and 38 seconds.
